CAMMRO'S DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM ON ARAB & MUSLIM MEDIA RESEARCH

The first Doctoral Symposium in Arab and Muslim Media research took place at King's College, University of London on the 28th April 2007.

This event which gathered doctoral students from various European & American Universities was a great success. Students working on various strands of research around Arab and Muslim media issues presented their work in front of other colleagues and senior academics. Reseachers from USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Egypt, Belgium and Norway engaged in a very lively debate about a variety of topics in the field. The 2nd DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM was also a very succesfful event and took place on the 16th February 2008, At Goldsmith's, University of London.
